Overview
Annapurna Base Camp Trek in the Annapurna region is the famous and one of the best trek in the world. It is more distinctive than any other treks by its variety of people, rich culture, beautiful landscapes and panorama view. The height of the mountain reaches 8091 meters above sea level and the Annapurna base camp’s altitude is 4130 meters. The Annapurna Himal lies between the Kali Gandaki and Marsyangdi river valleys and forms a solid mountain bastion. In the distance of 40 miles, it encompasses twelve peaks higher than 7,000m and numerous others over (6,000 m). It also frequented by many Hindu pilgrims is in this area.
Our Annapurna Base Camp Trek via Ghorepani Poon Hill starts from Pokhara valley. Our trail passes through single and beautiful green valleys encircled by most beautiful snowy peaks. Annapurna base camp trekking is also suitable for the trekkers who are looking for something a little more challenging and energetic. It does not require you to have any previous trekking or mountaineering experience.

Day 03: Morning drive to Pokhara
Day 04: Pokhara to Naya Pool (bus) – Hile (1545 m)
Day 05: Tirkhedunga to Ghorepani ( 2775 m)
Day 06: Ghorepani Poon Hill ( 3193 m) – Tadapani ( 2540 m)
Day 07: Trek to Chhomrong ( 2170m)
Day 08: Trek to Doban ( 2505m)
Day 09: Trek to Machhapuchhre Base Camp ( 3700m)
Day 10: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp ( 4130m)
Day 12: Trek back to Chhomrong/Jhinu
Day 13: Landrung to Potana ( 1900m )
Day 14: Potana to Phedi, drive to Pokhara
Day 15: Kathmandu
Day 16: Departure.
Day 01: Kathmandu (1400m)
Pick up then Transfer to hotel and handle check in. Short briefing that afternoon followed by orientation walk. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Cultural and Historical sightseeing in Kathmandu
Around Kathmandu valley: The holy place of Pashupatinath temple, Shoyambhunath temple, Boudhanath Stupa & Kathmandu Darbar Square), arrange the necessary permit for Trekking and Climbing. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 03: Morning drive to Pokhara
Transfer to the Hotel. Walk around the Phewa lake and city. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 04: Pokhara to Naya Pool (bus) – Hile (1545 m)
4-hour trek to Hile (1545 m). The trail winds its way through bamboo forests and passes by a spectacular waterfall. Overnight at teahouse/lodge.
Day 05: Tirkhedunga to Ghorepani (2775 m) in 6 hrs.
The Annapurna South (7273m) and the Hiunchuli gradually unfold on this pleasant walk uphill through fields and pastures and later through rhododendrons and oak woods. Ghorepani was originally a horse watering post, which has evolved into an important crossroads for tourists and the numerous mule caravans on the Jomoson-Pokhara trip. Overnight at teahouse/lodge /camp.
Day 06: Ghorepani Poon Hill ( 3193 m) to Tadapani ( 2540 m) in 6hr
We leave early morning for Poon Hill, to catch the early morning sunlight on the panorama of peaks: Dhaulaghiri, Annapurnas, Machhapuchare… This is an option but really worth the while. We then retrace our steps to Ghorepani and continue towards Tadapani through rhododendron woods. Overnight at teahouse lodge/camp.
Day 07: Trek to Chhomrong ( 2170m), walking approximately 5 hrs.
The trails slowly descend to the small river and cross the bridge and start to ascend to the Chhomrong Village with good views of Annapurna mountains. Overnight at teahouse lodge/camp.
Day 08: Trek to Doban ( 2505m), walking approx 5 hrs.
The trail descends to the Chhomrong river and ascends to the Sinawa at 2340. Cultivation gives way to a beautiful tropical forest, with some huge bamboo trees and passing through the Bamboo (2335m), including views of the twin “fishtail” peaks of Machapuchare then to Doban. Overnight at teahouse lodge/camp.
Day 09: Trek to Machhapuchhre Base Camp ( 3700m), Approx 6 hrs walking distance.
As the trail ascends every step it takes you to the Himalayan Hotel at (2920m), slowly the landscapes being changes and continue to MBC. Overnight at teahouse lodge/camp.
Day 10: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp ( 4130m), walking approximately 4 hrs.
The ridgeline of peaks is almost uninterrupted – from the snowy slopes up to Hiunchuli behind, then Annapurna I (8091m), the massive south face of Annapurna itself, Fluted and Tent peaks in the foreground, to Annapurna III (7555m) and finally the gorgeous north face pyramid of Machapuchare (6997m), guarding the narrow entrance. Overnight at teahouse lodge or camp.
Day 11: Trek to Doban (2505m), approximately 5.30 hrs walking.
Overnight at teahouse lodge/camp.
Day 12: Trek back to Chhomrong/Jhinu approximately 5 hrs walking distance.
Overnight at teahouse lodge/camp.
Day 13: Landrung – Potana ( 1900m ), in 6h.
A pleasant walk through terraced paddy fields. Superb vistas of Lamjung Himal and Manaslu. Overnight at teahouse/lodge.
Day 14: Potana to Phedi, drive to Pokhara (2.5 hrs trek) – Pokhara (bus)
An afternoon of leisure to spend at the Pokhara lakeside. You can enjoy a swim, a boat ride, some shopping and the restaurant terraces on the shoreline. Overnight at teahouse lodge/camp.
Day 15: Kathmandu: drive or fly back to Kathmandu.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 16: Departure.
Transfer to airport for final departure to onward destination.
